Every listing is a real hobby business with a canonical profile, so collectors can see what a business actually does, where it operates and how to reach it, without wading through unrelated results.
The Roster
Everyone makes the Roster.
The Roster is the organic discovery layer. Businesses are discovered through their legitimate classifications, profiles and the areas of the hobby they genuinely belong to. Being listed on the Roster is free and never requires buying Sponsored placement.
The Ladder
Three make the Ladder.
Eligible Hobby Roster categories can have three Sponsored positions. Businesses may compete for those positions for additional visibility. Sponsored placement is always clearly labeled, and it does not determine organic ranking or organic discovery.
Sponsored placement never affects organic discovery.
Card Shops
Physical card shops are treated differently. They’re about local discovery, so they appear through the Card Shops map experience — found by where you are, not by Sponsored placement. Shops are never ranked on Ladder sponsorship.
Shows & Events
Shows and events are their own part of Hobby Roster: card shows, trade nights, signings and other hobby gatherings. Event discovery is entirely organic — events are not Ladder markets and carry no Sponsored positions.
